New-City Travel Safety
GoAlert is a travel safety and SOS app for Android by Kumawatpulse Technologies that shares live GPS alerts with chosen guardians. It is designed for travellers navigating unfamiliar streets — described here as a design intent, never a guarantee of safety.
How does GoAlert help in an unfamiliar city?
- Live GPS SOS alerts. One trigger sends exact coordinates to chosen guardians as an Internet push notification.
- Readable addresses. Alerts include reverse-geocoded addresses so guardians understand the location without reading raw coordinates.
- Guardian location requests. With Remote Request enabled, family back home can request the traveller's live position over the Internet via the connection code.
- 22 languages. The app interface works in 22 languages, useful when the phone is shared or set up with local help.
What are the limits when travelling?
Map display and alert delivery need Internet on both sides; roaming or patchy data can delay SOS. GPS accuracy varies in dense urban areas and indoors. GoAlert is a supplementary tool — in a real emergency in India, call 112 (Police), 108 (Medical), or 1091 (Women Helpline).
